Bellz in Australia
It’s been a weird start to the season in Perth, this time last year the wind was well and truly in we were having 5 out of 7 days blow with 17 knots up to 30, and this was the perfect training ground for anyone who wanted to improve their riding. But this year has been well and truly different, coming back from injury and not being able to ride everyday has made me think of other ways to entertain myself and stay fit.
The gym has become an integral part of my life a solid gym session a day seems to keep my addiction under control. I have also started Zen do Kai, Zen Do kai is a form of martial arts that’s combines Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Eskrima, Judo, Karate and Muay Thai. The Form is quite “street smart” the sessions are designed to keep you fit and it also combines a lot of sport psychology.
Surfing, surfing has always been a really major focus in my life, whenever I go for a surf I come back a changed man all my problems seem to dissolve when I hit the water it’s also a great way to keep fit I guarantee if you haven’t surfed before you will be struggling after half an hour on the water.
In the last week the wind has really started to kick in again so it’s been back to the routine, kiting everyday and hanging on the beach. The sessions have really got me thinking and it has really dawned on me that nothing compares to kiting with mates!
Summers back baby!!
